Abstract

XCMG continues to push the boundaries of heavy lifting with its flagship mobile cranes

XCMG continues to push the boundaries of heavy lifting with its flagship mobile cranes, recently setting a new installation record in the renewable energy sector. The XCA4000, currently the world's highest capacity all-terrain crane, successfully completed a complex lift in Hengshui, China. The operation involved hoisting a 130-ton wind turbine nacelle and massive 95-meter-long blades to a staggering height of 162 meters. This achievement is particularly notable as it marks the seventh time XCMG has broken its own world record for wind turbine installation height. These feats demonstrate the company's leadership in developing the specialized heavy equipment required to support the global transition to green energy by enabling the construction of ever-larger and more efficient wind farms.
